Access the the National Immunization Program's web-based training course "Immunization: You Call the Shots." The training course is an interactive self-study program that participants can complete at their own pace. A total of 15 modules are planned. The course is intended for nurses, nursing students, medical assistants, pharmacists, health educators, immunization program managers, Department of Defense paraprofessionals, and other healthcare providers working in private offices, hospitals, and public health settings.

The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) consists of 15 experts in fields associated with immunization, who have been selected by the Secretary of the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services to provide advice and guidance to the Secretary, the Assistant Secretary for Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on the control of vaccine-preventable diseases.
