Revisions to Seventh Grade Entry School Rule

Effective May 7, 2007, a student entering the 7th grade must have proof of receiving the following immunizations:

3 Hepatitis B
1 Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis (Tdap) booster*
1 Varicella - proof of previous history of disease is acceptable

This is in addition to other immunizations which should have already been completed (i.e. MMR, Polio).

*Previously the Td vaccine was required. However, the Td vaccine can be given to satisfy the Tdap requirement. For more information on Tdap vaccines, click here.

Additionally, all Utah students, kindergarten through grade 12, are now required to have two doses of the Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccine, rather one dose of the MMR and one additional dose of the measles vaccine.
