Immunization coalitions play a key role in educating communities and health care professionals about the importance of immunizations. The Adolescent Subcommittee of the Every Child by Two (ECBT) Immunization Coalition designed an Event Planning Toolkit
to assist coalitions and other organizations in planning successful events and in reaching out
to potential partners.

The toolkit includes a planning timeline, tips for planning, and sample templates that can be tailored to a coalition's specific needs. In addition, the toolkit contains a list of resources and Web sites.

The toolkit was adapted from the Event Planning Toolkit developed by the Immunization Coalitions Technical Assistance Network and the Workshop Toolkit developed by the Utah Immunization Program.
